Uncover the Grand Stages of Paris

Bercy Arena (Accor Arena)

Located in the 12th district of Paris, Bercy Arena, now known as Accor Arena, is a renowned venue for both sports and entertainment. Officially opened in February 1984, the arena was originally designed by architects Andrault-Parat, Jean Prouvé, and Aydin Guvan. It features a distinctive pyramid shape covered with a sloping lawn, making it a standout landmark in Paris. The arena underwent significant renovations between 2014 and 2015, modernizing its facilities and enhancing its capacity to host a variety of events.

Bercy Arena has been a premier venue for high-profile sports events, including the Rolex Paris Masters, the final rounds of the 2018 European Women’s Handball Championship, and numerous basketball, boxing, ice hockey, and motocross events. Additionally, it has welcomed performances by leading French and international artists such as Madonna, Daft Punk, Johnny Hallyday, and Paul McCartney, making it a key location for concerts and cultural events. With a seating capacity of up to 20,300 for concerts and around 15,000 for sporting events, Accor Arena continues to be a central hub for major events in Paris. As part of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Bercy Arena will again be in the spotlight, showcasing its modern amenities and historical significance.
